Dental crowns are tooth-shaped caps that can be placed on single or multiple teeth to improve their shape, size, appearance, and strength. We use them to protect, cover, and restore your teeth when dental fillings are not the appropriate solution for the problem at hand. Crowns can be made from a variety of materials and the doctor will advise you of what the best choice is – the most common is an all-ceramic material called zirconium (instead of a metal-lined crown).
