At Tilden Dental Group, you only require two dental visits to get veneers. In the case of CEREC veneers, you can have them on the day of your initial consultation.
The first step to getting veneers is a consultation with our dentists during which they will diagnose your oral concerns and determine the best treatment.
Once your dentist has determined veneers are the right solution for you, he will gather the information required to fabricate the veneers. For this, we will take X-rays and make digital scans of your teeth.
Once the veneers are ready, we will schedule a follow-up appointment to place them. The surface of the tooth will be cleaned and then part of the enamel will be filed off.
Next, an etching liquid will be used to help the veneers adhere to the surface of the teeth. Once the contour and fit of the veneers are confirmed, we will bond them using dental adhesives.
Your dentist will also perform a bite test to ensure the restoration isn’t affecting your bite.
